I've spent my career in Emergency Medical Services. I'm also a licensed pilot and woodworker but photography is my passion and the focus of this site.

We live in a little historic village community called Fort Langley, about 30 minutes from Vancouver British Columbia. Many of the images you see on this site are taken in that same area which has a wonderful small town feel as well as amazing scenery along the Fraser River. The area is also rich in history, being the birth place of British Columbia and home to the Fort Langley National Historic Site.

I’ve enjoyed photography most of my life. This is a passion shared with my wife and kids as well. In fact our first home had a single critical requirement, it needed space for a darkroom! I’ve been a photographer for over 45 years. Today I shoot digital and I still love to shoot film with a variety of cameras especially my beloved Leica M6 or the magnificent Hasselblad 500cm medium format camera .. the one that went to the moon. All film processing and printing is done in my own darkroom. I love all aspects of photography but I find great joy helping others discover film photography. Contact me if you have questions.

This site has a small collection of my images. You can view a larger collection on Flickr
